Central® 270 Reinforced Water Activated Tape is a 3-inch-wide kraft tape reinforced with fiberglass yarn strands bonded between paper layers, delivering high tensile strength and a permanent, tamper-evident bond. The patented starch-based adhesive activates on contact with water, fusing directly to the carton surface rather than adhering through pressure alone.
The 375-foot roll length and reinforced construction make this tape well suited for high-volume carton sealing in distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, and fulfillment operations where seal integrity and tamper evidence are required. The wide format provides full flap coverage in a single pass, and the fiberglass reinforcement holds across irregular surfaces, corners, and edge seals without tearing.
Adhesive performance is maintained across a broad temperature range, supporting use in both cold storage and warm warehouse environments. The kraft substrate is environmentally considerate — fiberglass yarn separates during repulping, allowing the paper component to enter the recycling stream. Each case contains 8 rolls and ships via parcel carrier.
