Description

3M™ 4930 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 25 mil white acrylic foam tape with dual-sided acrylic adhesive and a kraft paper liner, offered here in a 1/2" x 5-yard roll. The firm foam core fills minor surface gaps while forming a permanent structural bond capable of replacing or supplementing mechanical fasteners including rivets, screws, bolts, spot welds, and liquid adhesives.

The narrow 1/2" format is well suited for precision bond lines, tight clearance assemblies, and applications where a clean, low-profile fastening solution is required. Industrial manufacturing, transportation fabrication, architectural panel installation, and signage mounting are among the environments where this tape is commonly specified.

The acrylic adhesive system resists moisture, solvents, and UV exposure across a working temperature range of -40°F to 200°F. The tape is UL746C listed and sold as a single roll weighing approximately 0.18 lbs. Consult the 3M data sheet for surface preparation guidelines and substrate compatibility before specifying.
