3M™ 4945 VHB™ (Very High Bond) Tape is a 45 mil thick white acrylic foam tape with an acrylic adhesive system and kraft paper liner, available here in a 3/4-inch by 5-yard roll. UL 746C listed, it is engineered for structural bonding where mechanical fasteners are impractical or undesirable.
The acrylic foam core delivers conformability, vibration damping, and impact resistance, maintaining bond integrity across uneven or lightly textured surfaces. Resistance to moisture, UV exposure, plasticizers, and solvents makes it equally effective indoors and in exposed exterior environments. Transportation manufacturers, sign fabricators, electronics assemblers, and general manufacturers rely on it for bonding trim, nameplates, panels, and dissimilar substrates.
